To create visually attractive layouts that utilize a grid system and display excellent typographic hierarchy, while adhering to current print industry standards.
THE SOLUTION
I wanted to create a magazine that was very simple and clean, but still had an elegant look to it. I chose a serif as the main headline font to give the magazine a more luxurious approach and left my pull quotes in a sans to create balance between the headline and important content. My use of monochromatic colours in the type and across all the imagery unifies all the spreads, making the magazine cohesive.
